Ajman, UAE – The Superyacht Service Centre (SYSC) in Ajman has reached a significant milestone as it moves into its strategic operational phase, following the completion of its final infrastructure and technical commissioning stages. The development positions the facility among the region’s most advanced specialized centres for superyacht refit, repair, and maintenance.

Designed to meet the rapidly expanding demands of the Middle East’s luxury yacht sector, the centre represents a major step forward in the ongoing growth of Gulf Craft Group, which has built a reputation over more than four decades for excellence in marine manufacturing and services. The new facility is expected to enhance the UAE’s ability to deliver world-class maintenance services for luxury vessels, strengthening the country’s status as a global hub for superyacht servicing.

A key feature of the facility is the commissioning of a 600-tonne mobile boat hoist supplied by Cimolai, confirming the centre’s readiness to undertake large-scale marine lifting operations. The system allows SYSC to handle yachts of up to 60 metres in length and is supported by a 75-tonne mobile crane designed to assist with day-to-day maintenance and operational activities.

The centre also includes deep-water berths with a depth of six metres and a purpose-built service quay capable of accommodating up to eight yachts simultaneously. Its integrated operational ecosystem combines administrative offices, specialized workshops, technical support areas, and secure equipment storage facilities. On-site teams offer a full range of refit and maintenance services, including mechanical works, certified structural repairs, painting, carpentry, and interior refurbishment.

The launch of the Superyacht Service Centre comes at a time of strong global growth in the superyacht industry. Strategically designed to support vessels operating across the Middle East and the Indian Ocean, the facility will also serve yachts transiting to the Mediterranean and other major international cruising routes.

The establishment of SYSC in Ajman further reinforces the UAE’s role as a key player in the global maritime sector.
