

Dubai, UAE – Al Jaddaf Rotana Complex is advancing its sustainability agenda with measurable improvements in resource efficiency and environmental management, alongside new recognition from leading sustainability programmes across its Dubai properties.
Al Jaddaf Rotana Suite Hotel has achieved Green Key Certification and the Dubai Sustainable Tourism (DST) Silver Award, while Arabian Park, Edge by Rotana, and Park Apartments, Edge by Rotana, have earned Travelife Certification and the DST Bronze Award.
The recognitions reflect a continued focus on embedding sustainability into daily hotel operations, from energy and water conservation and waste management to sustainable procurement, food and beverage practices, guest amenities and colleague engagement.
In 2025, Al Jaddaf Rotana Suite Hotel reduced its total energy consumption by 9.2%, while Arabian Park recorded a 5.4% reduction compared with the previous year. Al Jaddaf Rotana Suite Hotel has also achieved 100% diversion of waste from landfill, with food and general waste processed through a Waste-to-Energy facility.

At Al Jaddaf Rotana Suite Hotel, sustainability initiatives include replacing conventional single-use plastics with alternatives such as FSC-certified kraft paper, corn starch and wheat straw fibre products, as well as introducing reusable and lower-impact guest amenities. The hotel has also adopted more sustainable takeaway packaging and offers Green Meeting options for environmentally conscious events.
At Arabian Park and Park Apartments, sustainability programmes focus on energy and water efficiency, waste and food waste reduction, sustainable procurement, reduced reliance on single-use plastics and community engagement.
Colleague participation remains central to the Complex’s approach, with 100% of colleagues completing required sustainability training through Rotana’s RISE platform. Donation drives, linen repurposing, charitable campaigns and employee volunteering further support the properties’ environmental and social objectives.
The latest certifications and awards mark a significant milestone in Al Jaddaf Rotana Complex’s ongoing sustainability journey, reinforcing its commitment to measurable environmental performance and responsible hospitality in Dubai and the UAE.
