Hong Kong – CL Yachts has completed the sea trials of its first CLB65 SUV, marking a significant milestone in the development of the shipyard’s latest 19.7-metre model. Following her launch earlier this year at CL Yachts’ production facility in Zhuhai, China, the yacht has now arrived in Hong Kong, where she will undergo a series of exclusive private viewings for selected clients and brokers ahead of her official Asian premiere.

Positioned as a sportier and more versatile evolution of the CLB65 platform, the CLB65 SUV combines the practicality of an SUV-inspired layout with the performance, comfort and craftsmanship associated with CL Yachts’ B-Series.

During comprehensive sea trials, the yacht’s performance, handling and onboard systems were put through a series of tests. Powered by twin Caterpillar C18 or Volvo Penta D13 engines, the CLB65 SUV achieved a top speed of 28 knots at half load. Optional technologies, including the ZF JMS control system, further enhance maneuverability and simplify handling for owners and crew.

The yacht’s contemporary interior, designed by Supertomato Studio, combines natural materials with clean, understated detailing. Owners can choose between walnut and white oak finishes, allowing for a personalized onboard aesthetic.

On the main deck, the aft deck, galley and salon are seamlessly connected to create an expansive, continuous living environment. The lower deck houses three guest accommodations, including a full-beam master stateroom, a VIP cabin and a convertible guest cabin.

Between August and November, CL Yachts will host an exclusive private viewing programme in Hong Kong, giving selected clients and brokers the opportunity to step aboard and experience the new model ahead of its public debut.

The CLB65 SUV is scheduled to make its official Asian premiere at the Hong Kong Boat Show in December, where the latest addition to CL Yachts’ B-Series will be showcased to the wider boating community.
