Paris, France – Evok Collection has announced the acquisition of a landmark property in the heart of Val d’Isère, marking a significant step in the group’s ongoing expansion strategy. The property will be transformed into Nolinski Val d’Isère, a luxury mountain retreat scheduled to open in December 2029.
The project represents the first alpine destination for the Nolinski brand, ushering in a new chapter following its successful establishments in Paris and Venice, with Saint-Tropez set to join the portfolio in the near future.
The acquired property is the renowned La Savoyarde Hotel, an iconic name that has been closely associated with Val d’Isère for more than five decades. Long regarded as one of the most distinguished hospitality landmarks in the French Alps, the family-run hotel has welcomed generations of loyal guests and notable personalities, becoming an integral part of the resort’s identity and heritage.
Through this acquisition, Evok Collection aims to preserve the hotel’s authentic character and rich legacy while reimagining it under the Nolinski brand. The transformation will introduce a contemporary vision of mountain luxury that blends elegance, authenticity, and a strong sense of place in one of France’s most celebrated alpine destinations.
Spread across six floors, Nolinski Val d’Isère will feature 45 rooms and suites, many of which will offer private balconies overlooking the village and its surrounding mountain scenery. Designed with families in mind, the hotel will include a selection of connecting rooms, alongside a restaurant, bar, spa with an indoor swimming pool, and a dedicated children’s club, creating a refined retreat focused on comfort, wellness, and conviviality.
The hotel is set to accompany guests through both action-packed ski days and tranquil winter evenings, delivering a sophisticated alpine experience that combines exceptional hospitality, distinctive design, and a deep connection to its surroundings. In doing so, it will embody Nolinski’s signature values of authenticity, outstanding service, and timeless elegance.
The architectural transformation has been entrusted to Le Coadic & Scotto, the acclaimed design studio behind several of Evok Collection’s flagship projects, including Cour des Vosges and Nolinski Venezia. Known for its ability to merge contemporary design with a profound respect for architectural heritage, the firm will ensure that the property retains its historic soul while embracing a renewed sense of luxury. The project is being led by Zaka Investments on behalf of Evok Collection.
