Dubai, UAE – Four Seasons, the global leader in luxury hospitality, has announced plans to strengthen its presence in Spain through a new partnership with Spanish real estate investment firm Blasson to develop Four Seasons Hotel Sevilla, scheduled to open in 2028.
Situated in the heart of Sevilla’s iconic Plaza Nueva within the historic Arenal Quarter, the new luxury property will occupy a landmark building that is set to undergo a comprehensive restoration. The hotel will bring Four Seasons’ signature hospitality to one of Spain’s most culturally rich destinations, just steps away from some of the city’s most renowned attractions, including the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Sevilla Cathedral, Archivo de Indias, and the Royal Alcázar.

“Sevilla is a city renowned for its extraordinary culture, history, and beauty, and we are proud to introduce the Four Seasons experience to this remarkable destination,” said Alejandro Reynal, President and CEO of Four Seasons. “As we continue expanding our presence in Spain, our collaboration with Blasson will deliver a thoughtfully restored luxury hotel that celebrates Sevilla’s unique character while providing the exceptional service and genuine care our guests expect from Four Seasons.”
The boutique-style hotel will feature approximately 55 elegantly designed guest rooms across five floors, offering an intimate luxury experience. Originally built in the mid-20th century, the historic property will be transformed to include panoramic skyline views, open-air terraces, and fully redesigned accommodations ranging from 40 to 117 square metres (430 to 1,260 square feet), including a spacious Presidential Suite.
The architectural redesign will be led by Madrid-based Lamela, while internationally acclaimed interior designer and AD100 honouree Belén Domecq will oversee the hotel’s interior concept.
“Our investment in Sevilla reflects our confidence in the city’s continued rise as a premier luxury tourism destination,” said Enrique Benjumea, Founding Partner of Blasson. “We are delighted to partner with Four Seasons on a project that combines heritage preservation with world-class hospitality, creating a destination that supports sustainable tourism while delivering exceptional culinary, wellness, and guest experiences.”
Designed to become a vibrant destination for both visitors and residents, Four Seasons Hotel Sevilla will introduce three distinctive dining venues, including a street-level restaurant opening directly onto Plaza Nueva, a rooftop restaurant and bar offering sweeping views across the city, and a stylish lounge on the ground floor. The property will also feature a luxury spa, a state-of-the-art fitness centre, and a rooftop swimming pool overlooking Sevilla’s historic skyline.
The Sevilla project builds on the success of Four Seasons’ acclaimed hotels in Madrid and Mallorca, further reinforcing the brand’s strategic expansion across Spain through destinations that combine cultural authenticity with world-class luxury.
Welcoming nearly five million visitors annually, Sevilla continues to strengthen its reputation as one of Europe’s leading cultural and leisure destinations. The city offers an exceptional blend of historic architecture, vibrant traditions, and year-round events, while its excellent transport links—including high-speed rail connections to Madrid in just two and a half hours, as well as a growing international airport—continue to enhance its global appeal.
