AMALA, Saudi Arabia – Nammos AMALA Resort officially opened its doors today, welcoming its first guests in a landmark launch that marks one of the luxury hospitality sector’s most anticipated openings of 2026.
Set along the pristine coastline of Triple Bay within the regenerative destination of AMALA, developed by Red Sea International, the resort represents a major milestone for one of the world’s most renowned luxury lifestyle brands. More than two decades after Nammos first transformed the beach-club experience in Mykonos, the brand is entering a new era with the debut of its first fully integrated resort, bringing together hospitality, culinary excellence, wellness and distinctive design in a spectacular Red Sea setting.
Inspired by Nammos’ philosophy of “Endless Joy,” Nammos AMALA reinterprets the energy, sophistication and sense of celebration for which the brand is known for a new generation of luxury travellers. Days unfold effortlessly from sun-drenched beach experiences into vibrant evenings, while wellness, relaxation and entertainment come together in an atmosphere shaped by the natural rhythm of the Red Sea.

“This is about far more than opening a hotel; it marks the beginning of an entirely new chapter for Nammos,” said Caroline Turnbull, CEO of Nammos Hotels & Resorts. “We have taken everything people know and love about the brand — from its distinctive atmosphere and exceptional hospitality to its elevated culinary experiences and unmistakable energy — and brought it together within a fully integrated resort experience. There could be no more fitting place than AMALA to take this next step, and we are incredibly proud to welcome our first guests.”
John Pagano, Group CEO of Red Sea International, added: “Nammos AMALA expands the diversity of experiences available at the destination by bringing the spirit and unique energy of Mykonos to Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coast. As AMALA continues to grow and enrich its offering with each new opening, the arrival of Nammos reflects our ambition to establish AMALA as one of the world’s leading destinations for luxury lifestyle and wellness.”
The resort features 110 rooms, suites and villas, alongside 20 Nammos residences, all designed to create a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living. Expansive terraces, natural materials and uninterrupted views of the Red Sea define the spaces, while contemporary Saudi influences are combined with refined interiors inspired by the understated elegance of the Greek Cyclades. The result is a distinctive aesthetic rooted in its setting while remaining unmistakably Nammos.
At the heart of the resort is the iconic Nammos restaurant, located on a private island accessible via a dedicated walkway and jetty. Surrounded by an infinity pool, private cabanas and panoramic sea views, the restaurant is designed as a vibrant social hub that comes alive throughout the day and continues into the evening.

Across the resort, Nalu offers a bold Latin American culinary experience with Asian influences, while Elios and Elios Lounge celebrate Mediterranean flavours, sunset drinks and an effortlessly sophisticated atmosphere that captures the essence of the Nammos lifestyle.
Wellness and recovery are central to the guest experience. Nammos Spa, fitness and movement studios, water sports, boat excursions and carefully curated recovery programmes allow guests to explore and unwind at their own pace. Families can also enjoy dedicated children’s experiences and nature-inspired activities, complemented by a team of highly experienced personal hosts providing attentive, personalised service tailored to each guest.

As one of AMALA’s flagship resorts, Nammos provides guests with access to some of the destination’s most ambitious luxury attractions, including the Corallium Institute for Marine Life and AMALA Yacht Club, as well as pristine coral reefs, natural beaches and immersive cultural experiences.
Adventure seekers can explore the surrounding landscape through guided hiking, cycling and running excursions along scenic mountain trails, or take to the waters of Triple Bay for sailing and other marine activities. Once fully operational, AMALA is set to run entirely on renewable energy, supporting a new vision for sustainable luxury tourism along Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coast.

Looking ahead, Nammos Hotels & Resorts is continuing its international expansion, with new hotels and resorts in development across some of the world’s most sought-after destinations, including Montenegro, the Maldives and Egypt.
With the opening of Nammos AMALA, the brand’s global resort journey begins in one of the world’s newest luxury destinations, setting a new benchmark for lifestyle-driven hospitality in the Middle East and bringing the distinctive Nammos experience to the shores of the Red Sea.
