Dubai, UAE – Dubai has welcomed a new hospitality destination with the launch of NH Collection Dubai Ibn Battuta, following an extensive phased transformation of the former Oaks Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel Dubai.

The 396-room property combines newly refreshed accommodations and public spaces with an expanded selection of dining, leisure and social experiences, creating a contemporary destination designed to cater to leisure, family, business and MICE travellers.

Strategically located adjacent to Ibn Battuta Mall and within convenient reach of Dubai’s major business, leisure and entertainment hubs, the hotel brings together modern accommodation, distinctive culinary concepts and a range of facilities designed to encourage both relaxation and social connection.

The opening marks the latest addition to NH Collection’s expanding portfolio in the UAE, joining NH Collection Dubai The Palm, with additional NH Collection properties planned for Ras Al Khaimah.

NH Collection Dubai Ibn Battuta features 396 rooms and suites, ranging from Collection, Superior and Premium Rooms to Junior, Family and Terrace Pool Suites.

Selected two-bedroom configurations provide added flexibility for families and guests planning extended stays, while Club Rooms and suites include access to the Executive Lounge. The Terrace Pool Suites offer private outdoor spaces complemented by temperature-controlled pools.

Dining is a central element of the hotel’s renewed offering, with a selection of established venues and new concepts designed to appeal to a broad range of tastes.

Benihana brings its internationally recognised Japanese teppanyaki concept to the property, where chefs prepare dishes live at the table, combining culinary expertise with an engaging theatrical experience.

The hotel also introduces Taste, a contemporary all-day dining restaurant drawing inspiration from culinary traditions from around the world, and Nomad, a relaxed café offering speciality coffee and wholesome bites in a setting suited to meetings, work or simply taking a break.

These new concepts complement existing favourites, including Skyline Pool Bar, McGettigan’s and Rodeo Drive, an American-inspired venue serving Tex-Mex cuisine alongside live music and entertainment.
