Fano, Italy – Santasevera is marking a significant milestone as founder and naval engineer Francesco Guida celebrates 40 years in the yachting industry, reflecting on the company’s heritage while reaffirming the design philosophy that continues to shape its future.
Built on four decades of international experience in motor yacht design and development, Santasevera has established a distinctive identity rooted in technical expertise, functionality, and timeless aesthetics. The company views Guida’s professional journey as the cornerstone of a design culture focused on creating yachts that prioritize the onboard experience over passing trends.

Guida’s passion for the sea began early in life through sailing and hands-on experience in shipyards, experiences that laid the foundation for a practical approach to yacht design. After earning degrees in Naval and Mechanical Engineering, he built an international career, holding senior leadership roles in general management, product development, and the coordination of complex yacht-building programs. Throughout his career, he has overseen the development of complete yacht ranges while contributing to the optimization of industrial production processes.
Today, that wealth of experience defines Santasevera’s vision.
“Anyone designing a boat needs to know the sea firsthand. Practical experience remains essential because a boat is not simply an object of design; it is a space that has to respond naturally to the way it is used,” said Francesco Guida.

Over the past four decades, the yachting industry has evolved significantly, with owners increasingly seeking shorter, more dynamic cruising experiences. This shift has driven greater emphasis on outdoor living spaces, innovative layouts, and more integrated industrial development processes, redefining the role of yacht designers.
Against this backdrop, Santasevera has cultivated an independent design philosophy centered on balance, proportion, and functionality. Every project is guided by the belief that a yacht should deliver lasting value through thoughtful, purposeful design rather than temporary stylistic trends.
“The way people experience the sea has changed, and the way we design boats has changed with it. Santasevera reflects this evolution through an essential design language, where every decision has a purpose and responds to the way people actually live on board,” Guida added.

The current Santasevera lineup includes two models—a 42-footer and a 52-footer—both embodying the brand’s commitment to elegant, functional, and enduring design. The company is now preparing to broaden its portfolio with larger yachts, beginning with a 64-footer that is already under construction.
“The next model we will introduce is a 64-footer, which is already under construction. Our intention is to continue growing while preserving the same design language across every model in the range,” Guida concluded.
Santasevera will showcase its current lineup at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026, taking place from 8–13 September, where it will welcome visitors, clients, and industry professionals. The company continues to strengthen its international footprint through an expanding dealer network across Europe and the United States.
Headquartered in Fano, Italy, Santasevera continues to position itself as a contemporary yacht builder distinguished by a design philosophy grounded in experience, balance, innovation, and functionality.
