Umm Al Quwain, UAE – SilverCat has unveiled the second generation of its power catamaran range, introducing a renewed design language, enhanced onboard spaces and a stronger focus on indoor-outdoor living. Leading the new line-up is the all-new SilverCat 47, the latest addition to the brand’s Family Series.

The new generation has been developed around a wider beam-to-length ratio, creating more generous interior and exterior spaces for relaxation, entertainment and socialising. A closer connection with the sea is central to the design philosophy, with expansive outdoor areas intended to bring owners and guests closer to the water while enhancing the shared experience of life on board.

Inside, the new range combines contemporary styling with upgraded materials and refined finishes that are both visually distinctive and practical to maintain. Open-plan layouts and large panoramic windows fill the interiors with natural light, creating bright, spacious environments that flow naturally into the outdoor living areas.

The increased beam also enhances the catamarans’ stability and seaworthiness while contributing to improved cruising efficiency and range.

SilverCat 47 Leads the New Generation

The first model to showcase SilverCat’s new design direction, the SilverCat 47, has been designed entirely in-house and represents the latest evolution of the company’s Family Series.

Measuring 4.92 metres in beam, the SilverCat 47 offers one of the largest aft entertainment areas in its class. Optional fold-down balconies can extend the cockpit, creating a more immersive connection with the sea, while an automatic swim ladder developed in-house provides convenient access to the water.

The cockpit can be configured with a range of flexible seating arrangements, while the extended hardtop provides ample shade during cruising. At the bow, a spacious entertainment lounge accommodates up to eight guests, creating a second shaded social area for relaxing at anchor or enjoying panoramic views while underway.

Designed for Seamless Indoor-Outdoor Living

A wide-opening patio door connects the cockpit directly with the salon, reinforcing the indoor-outdoor lifestyle at the heart of SilverCat’s second-generation design philosophy.

The interior features bright, open living spaces, configurable galley layouts and thoughtfully designed accommodation, combining practicality with comfort. The model is also equipped with a twin-seat social helm and twin companion seats, creating a more inclusive environment for family cruising.

Accommodation areas feature en-suite facilities, abundant natural light and ventilation, while a dedicated tropical HVAC package is engineered to provide reliable year-round performance in warmer climates.

A More Sustainable Approach to Boatbuilding

Sustainability is also an integral part of the SilverCat 47’s construction. The model incorporates rPET (recycled PET) foam core material, produced from 100% recycled plastic.

Compared with conventional SAN foam, the material significantly reduces CO₂ emissions during production while maintaining the strength, durability and performance expected of a premium power catamaran.

With its combination of contemporary styling, expansive social spaces, enhanced performance and more sustainable construction, the SilverCat 47 marks a significant step forward for SilverCat as the brand enters the next generation of power catamaran design.
