Dubai, UAE – Bombardier has delivered the first Global 8000 aircraft to longtime customer Vista at the company’s London Biggin Hill Service Centre, marking a significant milestone in the evolution of business aviation.
The delivery represents the beginning of a major fleet upgrade program under which Vista plans to convert its existing fleet of Global 7500 aircraft into the new Global 8000 model. The company aims to upgrade two aircraft per month, with all 18 jets expected to be fully operational as Global 8000 aircraft by the end of the year. Once completed, Vista will operate the world’s largest subscription fleet of the ultra-long-range business jet.
Recognized as the fastest civil aircraft since the Concorde, the Global 8000 offers a top speed of Mach 0.95 and an impressive range of 8,000 nautical miles. The aircraft also features the lowest cabin altitude in business aviation at just 2,691 feet, alongside the longest seated cabin length in its class, delivering exceptional comfort for long-haul travelers.
Eric Martel, President and CEO of Bombardier, described the Global 8000 as a “no-compromise aircraft” that combines speed, comfort, and industry-leading performance. He noted that the addition of the aircraft to Vista’s fleet will provide customers with one of the most advanced private aviation experiences available today.
Thomas Flohr, Founder and Chairman of Vista, said the aircraft’s enhanced speed and extended range will allow members to travel more efficiently through faster and more direct flights. He added that the expansion reflects Vista’s ongoing commitment to operating one of the most advanced fleets in private aviation while maintaining high standards of flexibility and service.
The latest delivery follows another major agreement between the two companies announced earlier this year. On February 11, 2026, Vista and its affiliated entities confirmed a firm order for 40 Challenger 3500 business jets from Bombardier, with options to acquire an additional 120 aircraft, further strengthening the longstanding partnership between the two aviation leaders.
