Istanbul, Turkey – Turkish shipbuilder RMK Yachts has announced the opening of a new office in Miami, marking a significant step in the company’s strategic expansion across the United States — one of the world’s leading superyacht markets.
Situated within the RMK-Merrill Stevens shipyard in Miami, a renowned superyacht refit and repair facility in South Florida, the new office provides RMK Yachts with a permanent operational and client-service presence in the region. The expansion underlines the shipyard’s long-term commitment to strengthening relationships with U.S.-based clients while delivering direct support throughout every stage of yacht ownership.

The Miami office will operate in close collaboration with RMK-Merrill Stevens and will also be supported by RMK Yachts’ U.S. representative and broker, Juan Morillo, ensuring efficient communication and responsive customer service for American owners.
“For U.S. clients, proximity is not simply a preference — it is a matter of trust,” said Cuneyt Okcu, Director of RMK Yachts. “Having a physical presence there means being accessible, accountable, and responsive, particularly when it comes to after-sales support and warranty services.”
The move reflects RMK Yachts’ understanding of the priorities of American yacht owners, who value having a trusted local representative directly connected to the shipyard. By establishing a stronger foothold in the U.S., the company aims to reinforce transparency, long-term support, and customer confidence.
The opening of the Miami office also aligns with RMK Yachts’ broader strategy to expand its international footprint and further strengthen its position among the world’s leading yacht builders. Through this expansion, the company seeks to combine distinctive yacht design and engineering expertise with a service network tailored to the highest global standards.
