Dubai, UAE – Bombardier has marked a major milestone with the delivery of its 200th Challenger 3500 business jet to Piero Ferrari, Vice Chairman of Ferrari, highlighting the aircraft’s continued momentum and strong position in the super-midsize business aviation segment.
The milestone brings together one of the most successful business jets in its class with one of the world’s most iconic names in mobility, design and craftsmanship. The aircraft will support Ferrari’s travel to Formula One races, as well as his various business commitments, offering the performance, comfort and reliability expected by a leader closely associated with excellence, precision and innovation.

Reaching 200 deliveries in less than four years since entering service underscores the strong market demand for the Challenger 3500 and Bombardier’s continued leadership in one of the most competitive segments of business aviation.
“Delivering the 200th Challenger 3500 jet is a defining milestone for Bombardier and a powerful testament to the aircraft’s remarkable success in the super-midsize segment,” said David Murray, Executive Vice President, Manufacturing, IT and Bombardier Operational Excellence System. “We are especially proud to mark this milestone with Mr. Piero Ferrari and thank him for the confidence he has placed in Bombardier.”

Murray added that the achievement reflects the dedication of Bombardier’s employees, the continued confidence of its customers and the aircraft’s ability to combine outstanding performance, impressive operating efficiency and an elevated cabin experience. He also noted that the Challenger 3500 has rapidly established itself as a leader in its category, with the company expecting to build on its strong market momentum.
The aircraft’s delivery milestone reflects its strong performance since entering service. Since its first full year of deliveries in 2023, the Challenger 3500 has reportedly outdelivered every other business jet model in the medium and heavy categories, underlining its appeal among customers seeking a combination of performance, efficiency and comfort.

The Challenger 3500 has emerged as one of the most sought-after aircraft in the super-midsize segment, offering low direct operating costs, strong performance, versatility and a technologically advanced cabin. The aircraft also builds on Bombardier’s established presence in the super-midsize market, combining reliability and performance with customer-focused innovation.
Its growing popularity is also evident among major business aviation fleet operators. Recent firm commitments from operators including BOND, NetJets and VistaJet further demonstrate the aircraft’s expanding appeal among some of the industry’s most demanding and sophisticated customers.

Inside the cabin, the Challenger 3500 features several segment-defining innovations, including what Bombardier describes as the industry’s first voice-controlled cabin. It also features the company’s acclaimed Nuage seating, first introduced on the Global 7500 aircraft.
The Challenger 3500 also carries an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), as do all of Bombardier’s in-production business aircraft. The company says this reinforces its position as the only business jet manufacturer to have published EPDs for its aircraft, reflecting its continued focus on environmental transparency and sustainability.
