Cairo, Egypt – Cairo will host the 8th edition of the Egypt International Boat Show (EIBS) from February 5 to 8, 2026, as the event continues to strengthen Egypt’s position on the global map of yachting and marine tourism. The exhibition will take place at the Cairo International Convention Centre (CICC) in Nasr City.
Organized by Art Line for Organizing International Exhibitions and Conferences in partnership with Professional Publishing & Promotion (PP&P), EIBS is the only specialized marine exhibition of its kind in Egypt. This year’s edition will bring together more than 70 companies and entities, showcasing over 140 international and locally manufactured brands representing the full spectrum of the marine industry.
The exhibition features a comprehensive range of sectors, including boats, yachts, watercraft, engines, marine equipment, watersports and diving gear, as well as marine services such as navigation, financing, and insurance. EIBS also offers exclusive purchasing and financing solutions for both yacht owners and first-time buyers, significantly enhancing accessibility to boat ownership.
For the third consecutive year, the event is held under the auspices and support of key governmental bodies, including the Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Tourism, the Egyptian Tourism Promotion Authority, the Suez Canal Authority, and EgyptAir. This strong institutional backing reflects the state’s growing focus on developing yacht tourism, in line with ongoing port infrastructure expansion and the government’s latest facilitation packages for the sector.
The exhibition is further supported by leading private-sector sponsors, including Banque du Caire, Mercedes-Benz / Abou Ghaly Group, Ulter by Valu, and Orient Takaful Insurance.
The official opening ceremony is scheduled for the first day of the exhibition under the patronage of H.E. Lieutenant General Kamel El-Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development, Minister of Industry, and Minister of Transport, in the presence of senior government officials, prominent business leaders, public figures, and representatives of local and international media.
Commenting on the upcoming edition, organizers Amr Selim and Ahmed Allam emphasized that boat and yacht ownership in Egypt is no longer limited to a narrow elite. They highlighted the rapid growth of Egyptian manufacturers offering competitive pricing, along with flexible financing solutions available during the exhibition. The organizers noted that the Egypt International Boat Show has evolved into a dynamic platform for activating yacht tourism, generating tangible economic returns for the tourism sector, the national economy, and the wider marine industry.
