Hong Kong – Langham Hospitality Group has announced the appointment of Josh Littman as Head of Development for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Based in London, Littman will lead the group’s regional growth strategy, focusing on securing new hotel and branded residential agreements for the company’s portfolio of brands, including The Langham Hotels and Resorts, Cordis Hotels and Resorts, Eaton Workshop, and Ying’nFlo, further strengthening the group’s presence across key markets in the region.
Commenting on the appointment, Bob van den Oord, Chief Executive Officer of Langham Hospitality Group, said: “We continue to see strong growth opportunities across the EMEA region as owners and developers increasingly seek brands with a clear identity and long-term vision. With landmark projects such as The Langham Venice and The Langham Diriyah set to enhance our regional footprint and growth momentum, Josh’s extensive experience across luxury and upscale hospitality, resorts, and branded residences positions him perfectly to capitalize on these opportunities. His proven track record of working with owners and investors across a diverse range of projects and markets will be instrumental in supporting our expansion strategy and further growing our portfolio.”
Littman brings more than two decades of experience in hospitality development, investment advisory, and mixed-use real estate planning. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Development for EMEA at Starwood Hotels, where he led regional expansion initiatives for Baccarat Hotels, 1 Hotels, and Treehouse Hotels. In this role, he worked closely with owners, developers, and investment partners to secure hotel and branded residential agreements in some of the world’s leading urban and resort destinations.
Prior to joining Starwood Hotels, Littman held senior development positions at InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) and Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos, where he played a key role in executing the companies’ growth and expansion strategies across Europe and the Middle East.
Earlier in his career, Littman worked in consultancy with AECOM Economics—formerly Economics Research Associates—specializing in the planning and development of hotels, resorts, and mixed-use real estate projects for owners and investors across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, and Latin America.
He also held specialist roles in real estate finance and feasibility studies with Kerzner International and PKF Consulting, gaining extensive expertise in the strategic, commercial, and analytical aspects of hospitality real estate investment.
