Antalya, Turkey – RMK Yachts, the renowned Turkish shipyard celebrated for its engineering excellence and craftsmanship, has officially unveiled Petra, a new 50-metre ocean-going explorer yacht concept developed in collaboration with Milan-based design studio Hot Lab, part of the Viken Group.
A bold expression of timeless design, advanced naval engineering, and owner-centric versatility, Petra is presented in three distinct versions — Aura, Core, and Infinite — each offering a unique interpretation of life at sea.

The new concept further strengthens the long-standing partnership between RMK Yachts and Hot Lab, whose previous successful collaborations include the award-winning refit of the 45-metre Keyla and the acclaimed RMK 5000 Explorer concept.
The project will be offered for sale under a Joint Central Agency by Denison Yachting and SuperYachtsMonaco.
A New Benchmark in Explorer Yacht Design
Petra has been conceived as a true ocean-going explorer, featuring a steel hull, aluminium superstructure, and teak decks, combining long-range performance with a clean, architectural design language.
With an estimated cruising range of approximately 4,000 nautical miles and a maximum speed of 16 knots, Petra is built to deliver exceptional capability across transoceanic routes and remote destinations.
“Our goal with Petra was to design a yacht that feels both timeless and deeply personal — a vessel where architecture, light, and space naturally shape the way people experience life at sea,” said Cem Tasdemir, Design Manager at RMK Yachts.

According to Enrico Lumini, Partner and Design Director at Hot Lab, the design concept was inspired by the sculptural strength of an anvil.
“We were fascinated by its sense of strength, precision, and balance. That inspiration informed Petra’s strong geometry and visual identity, particularly the distinctive ‘C’ line that defines the stern,” Lumini said.
Three Distinct Lifestyle Concepts
Petra has been developed in three carefully curated versions, each tailored to a different ownership vision:

“From the very beginning, Petra was never intended to serve a single definition of ownership,” said Cuneyt Okcu, Director of RMK Yachts. “Each version offers its own spirit and onboard experience, allowing the yacht to reflect the identity and aspirations of her owner.”
Built for Exploration
Petra’s explorer credentials are reinforced by its substantial storage and operational capabilities, including large tender and water sports equipment capacity, as well as fold-down bulwarks that transform the garage into a beach club.
The Infinite version is specifically designed for high-latitude and long-range exploration, enabling safe passage to polar regions, remote islands, and global cruising routes.

Interior finishes will focus on natural woods, refined stone, leather, and textured fabrics, creating an atmosphere defined by warmth, authenticity, and enduring quality.
Official Reveal in Antalya
RMK Yachts will officially showcase Project Petra at the Turkish Airlines Open gala in Antalya on April 28, 2026.
“With Petra, the teams at Hot Lab and RMK Yachts have truly raised the bar,” said Antonio Romano, Commercial and Marketing Director of the Viken Group and Co-Founder of Hot Lab. “Every detail has been developed with the market in mind, and we are confident Petra will become an exceptional offering for discerning yacht owners worldwide.”
