Begunje, Slovenija – An increasing demand for sustainable boating across Southeast Asia is perfectly aligned with the strengths of Greenline Yachts. As a pioneer in Responsible Yachting, Greenline is well positioned to meet this growing interest through its regional partner, Derani Yachts. In a short time, Derani’s dedicated team has successfully sold three Greenline yachts, signaling strong momentum for the brand in the region.

Every Greenline model is engineered for exceptional efficiency, driven by a cutting-edge hybrid propulsion system available across the entire range. Working in tandem with expansive solar panels and advanced lithium battery banks, the innovative 6G H-Drive enables silent anchoring and hours of navigation under pure electric power.
“Green energy is a hot topic in Singapore—perhaps less so in other parts of Asia, but it’s gaining traction,” explains Håkan Lange, Managing Director of Derani Yachts. “As a Greenline dealer, our mission is to educate clients about the added value of hybrid propulsion and how it enhances their boating lifestyle.”
While sustainability is a key motivator for some, many owners are drawn to the peaceful, emission-free cruising experience that hybrid technology offers. “It’s ideal for gliding in and out of marinas silently or for island-hopping in total comfort,” Lange adds. “In Singapore, where most boaters gather in the same areas on weekends—just an hour’s sail away—the hybrid option makes perfect sense.”

Though awareness of Responsible Yachting varies across the region, the benefits of hybrid performance have universal appeal. Derani has already delivered Greenline yachts to clients in Singapore and Thailand, with promising leads in Malaysia and Indonesia. The sold models include the Greenline 40, 45 Fly, and 48 Fly, representing the brand’s core lineup.
Beyond their quiet operation and fuel efficiency, Greenline yachts stand out for their thoughtful, climate-adapted design. Based in Phuket, Derani Yachts understands that regional boaters value features like hardtop flybridges for shade, extended cockpit overhangs, and large windows that keep interiors cool. Light hull colors and spacious social areas further enhance the appeal for Asian owners.
“Our yachts offer something truly different from other brands,” says Alessandro Lorenzon, Greenline’s Chief Experience Officer. “We design for longevity, comfort, and sustainability—not just quick aesthetic wins. With features like shaded decks, efficient air conditioning, and versatile flybridges, it’s natural that boaters in Asia are taking notice.”

With the flagship Greenline 58 Fly already turning heads and a new compact Greenline 42 set to debut soon, the company anticipates continued growth in Southeast Asia.
“Although Greenline is relatively new to this market, we see enormous potential,” says Vladimir Zinchenko, Greenline CEO. “Customers here recognize our strengths, and our Responsible Yachting philosophy is resonating. We’re deeply thankful to Håkan and the Derani Yachts team for their outstanding work in building awareness across the region.”
