Saint-Tropez, France – From the turquoise waters of the Caribbean to the glamour of the French Riviera, the 2025 racing season once again proved that when a Wally enters the race, it’s there to win. Across oceans and continents, the Wally fleet swept the world’s most prestigious regattas, reaffirming the brand’s hallmark combination of design, performance, and innovation on the global stage.
The year opened under the Caribbean sun in February, where Bullitt (93’ fast cruiser racer) claimed victory in the RORC Nelson’s Cup Series in Antigua’s MAXI Class. It led a strong Wally showing with V (wallycento) and Galateia (wallycento) finishing second and fourth. Just weeks later, V and Galateia returned to the podium at the St Barths Bucket Regatta, taking first and second in the Les Cent Pieds & Les Gazelles division.

The winning streak continued at the North Sound Maxi Regatta in the British Virgin Islands, where V captured both the overall and Maxi 1 titles, followed by Bullitt in second. Galateia placed fifth overall and fourth in Maxi 1.
In Europe, the Mediterranean season kicked off on April 30 with PalmaVela in Palma de Mallorca. Tilakkhana II (wallycento) and Rose (wally80) secured first and second in the Maxi class, while Little Thila (wallynano37) took victory in the Spirit of Tradition category, and Pareltje (wallynano37) came fifth. Shortly after, the wallyrocket51 Django made headlines, winning the Tyrrhenian Sea Italian Championship in Sorrento.
At the IMA Maxi European Championship, Galateia, V, and Bullitt swept the entire Maxi 1 podium, taking first, second, and third. Wally’s success extended beyond the top tier: Sensei (94’ fast cruiser racer) placed fourth and Sud (wally80) seventh in Maxi 3.
In June, during the Loro Piana Giraglia in Saint-Tropez, Galateia, V, and the wallyrocket71 Django 7X ranked among the leading Maxi A contenders, while Sud earned a podium in Maxi B. Galateia finished fourth, V sixth, and Django 7X eighth in Maxi A, with Sud taking third in Maxi B Inshore. Django 7X also finished 13th overall Offshore and fifth in the combined Maxi A standings.

The Cyclades Cup in Greece saw an all-Wally podium in the Meltemi class, with Galma (wallywind110), Wally B (107’ fast cruiser racer), and Barong D (110’ fast cruiser racer) taking the top three positions—proving Wally’s versatility across conditions.
The triumphs continued at the Palma Superyacht Cup, where Rose claimed overall victory, and Green Eyes (107’ fast cruiser racer) earned line honours at the Mirpuri Foundation Sailing Trophy in Cascais.
During the Admiral’s Cup in Cowes, the wallyrocket51 Django drew attention for its outstanding performance, helping Team Django secure third place overall. The team won both the Channel Race and inshore races, placed third in Admiral Class 1, and eighth in the Rolex Fastnet Race.
The Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup in Porto Cervo—one of the crown jewels of the sailing calendar—crowned Galateia as Maxi 1 World Champion, followed by Bullitt (third), V (fourth), and Tilakkhana II (ninth). In the Maxi Grand Prix World Championship, the wallyrocket71 Django 7X claimed the title, while Inti (94’ fast cruiser racer) took second among Supermaxis.
Meanwhile, Esense (143’ fast cruiser racer) topped the Performance Corinthian class at Ibiza Joysail, and Pareltje held her own in the Modern Classic class at the Régates Royales in Cannes.

Finally, at Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez—the ultimate expression of Wally’s spirit—the fleet delivered another stunning performance. The wallyrocket71 Django 7X won the Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez Trophy in the Maxi Grand Prix, while V claimed the Trophée Edmond de Rothschild in Maxi 1, followed by Tilakkhana II and Galateia in fourth and sixth. Lyra (wally77) and Rose took second and third in Maxi 3, Sud finished fourth in Maxi 4, and Galateia secured the IMA Mediterranean Maxi Inshore Challenge 2025, closing the season as the year’s best-performing inshore Maxi—just ahead of V in second. The newly launched wallyrocket51 Kilara II also impressed with a stellar debut performance only a week after launch, confirming the immense potential of Wally’s latest design. Ges III and Pareltje (both wallynano37) rounded out the field in IRC 2, finishing 24th and 25th.
Beyond competition, Wally capped off its season with The Bow Glows—a week-long celebration held from September 28 to October 5 in partnership with La Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez. The collaboration with Range Rover offered guests and media an exclusive experience reflecting Wally’s distinctive ethos of design, innovation, and refinement.
Festivities culminated on October 4 with a private Gala Dinner by the world-renowned Alajmo Eventi, hosted at Casa Wally within the Musée de l’Annonciade. The evening blended haute cuisine and artistry, perfectly embodying Wally’s philosophy of creativity, excellence, and the art of living at sea.
From Antigua to Saint-Tropez, from regatta podiums to elegant celebrations, 2025 was another extraordinary chapter in Wally’s story—a season where performance met elegance, and innovation met emotion.
